At eighteen months old Marissa’s grandmother, a ballet teacher, started her plié and tendu training. Years later, she is still dancing. She grew up studying at different studios around the L.A. area. At age thirteen she did a season with the San Francisco Ballet. In her high school years, she competed with the nationally rank #1 show choir, in which the hit television show Glee was written and based on. In college, she continued her dancing and acting in many productions. Now, Marissa works as a choreographer for special events and she is a Zumba and yoga instructor. Even, though her main focus has always been ballet she can dance jazz, tap, lyrical, Latin, and go-go/freestyle.

Marissa, who until age fourteen, had only been a performer on the big stage, decided she wanted to try another side of the business. With in months after entering the Hollywood scene she booked a couple national commercials, which quickly had SAG knocking on her door to join the union. During the SAG strike of 2000, which cooled down the commercial industry, Marissa worked in print ads. She has done ads for Disney, Mattel, Wells Fargo, AT&T and Apple (just to name a few). After moving to Vegas in 2009, Marissa started doing fashion shows. She has walked for more than 300 shows with a long list of prestigious clients including Dolce and Gabbana, Macys, Saks, Diesel, Guess, Betsey Johnson and many more.

Marissa is available for directional, print, commercial, fashion, runway, conventions, and corporate events.
