Amanda is a Chicago native, born to a family of performers, who was exposed to the arts at a young age and instantly fell in love. Before she started performing on stage, Amanda found her performance outlet in gymnastics, ice skating, cheerleading and dance. After receiving first place at the state championships on the floor exercise, Amanda decided to put competing behind her and use her talents to become a well-rounded theatrical performer. When she turned 13, she began studying voice at Northwestern University. A few years into her classical training, she shifted her focus to musical theatre. She moved to Las Vegas in 2005 where she continued private voice lessons and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she received a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in Theatre Performance. Some of her stage credits include Fiddler on the Roof, You Can’t Take It With You, The Miracle Worker, Songs for a New World, Our Town, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Hedwig and the Angry Inch and The Cradle Will Rock, to name a few. Amanda was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role by the Las Vegas Valley Theatre Awards. She continues to perform regularly in plays and musicals throughout Las Vegas.
